SMOKERS will once again be able to light up at three Oxford play areas after a three-month ban comes to an end today.
Oxford City Council launched its trial and consultation study banning smoking at three play areas on July 14 and it will end at midnight today.
The enclosed play areas which saw the ban take place were at Cutteslowe Park, Florence Park and Sandfield Road.
Results of the consultation will be published before November 30 before any decisions as to whether or not to adopt the ban across the whole city are made.
