Stagecoach in Oxfordshire has been ranked top division for eco and safe driving in the UK.
The county's branch beat 18 other Stagecoach regions to take home top spot at the industry awards and marks the second consecutive win for the title.
Driving manoeuvres and mileage is monitored for all Stagecoach drivers and they must clock up more than 500 driving hours with just five or less harsh manoeuvres such as braking or acceleration per 10 hours.
If this is acheived drivers are awarded Fleet Elite standard and 46 per cent of those drivers in Oxfordshire have been awarded the green status.
Of which, 25per cent have been given Gold Badge status for maintaining this eco standard of driving.
Stagecoach in Oxfordshire managing director Marton Sutton said: “We are committed to delivering safe, smooth and fuel efficient driving for our customers and invest in regional GreenRoad champions to support drivers and help them achieve Fleet Elite status.
"To be recognised as the best for a second consecutive year is a great achievement."
