IT’S with sadness that Oxford’s H1/H2 service has now ceased to operate as a result of the council’s recent cuts to bus subsidies. The service was important for a lot of people who used it and will be sorely missed.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the drivers who drove this route for the service they provided. They certainly did a good job, and I wish them all well for the future.
There is one particular driver I’d like to give a special mention to. His name is Naz Husseyin and he was always cheery and always helped his passengers with their bags.
The passengers certainly appreciated him as they gave him lots of nice gifts when it was Christmas time. We certainly could do with more drivers like him.
