One lane is still closed after a lorry overturned on a roundabout on the A43 yesterday afternoon.

The vehicle fell over on the northern-most roundabouts at J10 of M40 near Baynard's Green at about 4.30pm.

One lane remains closed this morning as repair work is carried out.

South Central Ambulance Service spokesman David Gallagher confirmed no ambulances were sent to the scene.

Highways England has confirmed that there will be severe delays at the link road as repair works continue throughout the day.

A spokesman said: "The road was closed overnight after an HGV carrying recycling materials overturned during the night and spilled debris and oil over the road.

"The lorry was removed at 1am, but the spillages have led to significant damage to the road and the lane is expected to be closed for the remainder of the day for barrier repairs and road surface repairs."
