THE fire service has warned Pokemon hunters in Oxfordshire to be "aware of their surroundings".
It said users of the smartphone app Pokemon GO should take extra care, particularly when near roads.
The app allows people to catch digital monsters that are scattered randomly across the real world map but has led to reports of people walking into lamposts, roads and private property while staring at their phone screens.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service added: "Always be aware of your surroundings!"
