A 'HUGELY SENTIMENTAL' wedding album belonging to a couple who may have tied the knot in Oxford has been found on a coach.
Photographs of Patricia Cavanagh and Brian Lewis following their wedding in August 1965 at St Clement's Church, were left on a National Express coach and handed in at the station in Birmingham.
The coach company appealed to the people of Oxford as there is a St Clement's Church off Marston Road in the city.
National Express lost property manager Claire Horvarth said: "The photographs of Brian and Patricia are absolutely charming and the wedding looks to be such a happy day.
"We don’t know who lost the wedding album but it is clear it must hold huge sentimental appeal to have been carried around after all these years.
"We’re really keen to get this album home – wherever that may be – and would be overjoyed for it to be returned to its rightful owner."
Spokeswoman Rosalyn Golds said she had her "fingers crossed" the company's search in Oxford would pay off.
According to the pictures the couple were married on Wednesday August 7, 1965 at St Clement's Church.
The Marston Road church said it had no records of the wedding.
