THE owner of The Oxford Wine Company has thanked his customers for their loyal support, after they voted his firm best in the business.
Ted Sandbach, managing director of The Oxford Wine Company and The Oxford Wine Café Group, was delighted to see his firm receive two accolades, in the bar and the wine shop categories, in the Muddy Stilettos awards 2016.
The result was announced on June 15 when fellow manager George Sandbach and his team collected the pair of awards at a presentation ceremony in Buckinghamshire.
Muddy Stilletos is the brainchild of Hero Brown, formerly a national journalist who has written for The Independent on Sunday and The Observer. She now writes a blog with specialist websites covering different areas of the country, offering witty guides to the best restaurants, hotels and events.
