Torrential rain is lashing down all over the county this afternoon as thunderstorms causing traffic chaos for commuters.
Lightning strikes and road flooding has been reported after the Met Office warned that more thunder and rain is expected for the next few days.
318 homes have been left without power in south Oxford after this afternoon's thunderstorms.
Staff from St Hilda's College snapped some unlucky punters as they attempted to navigate their way along the river, only to get caught up in the rain.
And one Twitter user was fortunate enough to get this great picture of lightning striking over Oxford, with more thunder expected later this evening.

Tomorrow's forecast will see temperatures reach highs of 17 degrees amidst heavy and thundery showers.
But don't let the weather warnings dampen your spirits, as forecasters have predicted sunny intervals on Sunday and a few sunny spells on Sunday.
Although, in typical British summer-time style, it will still be overcast.
