Crews tackled a large fire in the roof at Oxford Business Park yesterday.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue service said the blaze was not thought to be suspicious, but added the cause was currently under investigation.
At its height, 57 firefighters used hose reels, jets, and breathing apparatus to dampen the flames and prevent the blaze gutting the entire roof.
Group Manager Stuart Garner who also attended the scene said: "On by far the hottest day of the year so far, our crews worked extremely hard in hot conditions to safely tackle the fire, contain it and prevent it spreading to the whole of the roof.
"The first floor has suffered a significant fire, which had huge potential for further spread to involve the whole building had the crews not acted in such a swift fashion."
Crews from Rewley Road and Slade Park fire stations in Oxford were dispatched and supported by additional resources, including Abingdon, Wallingford, Eynsham, Bicester, Witney and colleagues from Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes Fire and Rescue Service.
