OXFORD

Chris Wain, 38, of Richens Drive, Carterton, Oxfordshire, admitted failing to stop a vehicle when required by a constable or traffic warden in Wycombe Road, Carterton, on April 28. Also admitted dangerous driving in Carterton, driving otherwise in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance. Committed to prison for six months. Also ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge. Handed a 36-month driving ban.

Sean Garside, 26, of Paradise Street, Oxford, admitted stealing three bottles of alcohol worth £67.48 from Co-op, in London Road, Headington, on April 14. Also admitted stealing a bottle of champagne and a bottle of brandy worth £65.50 from Tesco. Also admitted breaching a conditional discharge order handed to him on December 18 last year. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.

Jermaine Jones, 33, of Nuffield Road, Wood Farm, Oxford, admitted breaching a restraining order by going to Knights Road, following Kimberley Russell around Templars Square Shopping Centre, and sending abusive and offensive text messages, which he was prohibited from doing, on March 12, April 26 and April 27. Admitted committing an offence while subject to a suspended sentence order. Committed to prison for six weeks. Also ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Lucia Santa-Maria, 50, of Corner House, Islip Road, Bletchingdon, admitted speeding at 82mph in a 70mph zone on the M40 between junction 8 and junction 7 on April 23 last year. Fined £250 and ordered to pay a £25 victim surcharge. Driving licence endorsed with three points,

Joseph Agnew, 62, of O'Hanlon House, Luther Street, Oxford, admitted assaulting James Milan in Knightsward, Lower Road, Chilton, Didcot, on January 27. Also admitted threatening to damage or destroy property. Fined £50 and ordered to pay £200 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge.

Max Gannicott, 18, of Humphries Green, Wantage, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Market Place, Wantage, on April 14. Also admitted obstructing or resisting a constable in the execution of their duty. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Patrick Smyth, 54, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing food worth £36.50 from Sainsbury's, in Cowley Road, Oxford, on December 7 last year. Fined £50 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.

Daniel Walker, 30, of John Morris Road, Abingdon, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Bath Street, Abingdon, on April 12. Fined £265 and ordered to pay a £26 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Michael Woods, 26, of Tudor Close, Wallingford, admitted using threatening or abusive or insulting words or behaviour with the intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence in St Mary's Street, Wallingford, on January 23. Fined £235 and ordered to pay £100 compensation, a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

BANBURY
Aaron Buckingham, 26, of The Avenue, Middleton Cheney, Banbury, admitted causing criminal damage to property valued less than £5,000 by destroying a garden gate belonging to Sanctuary Housing in Banbury on April 9. Discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay £300 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

James England, 22, of Woodford Mill, Mill Street, Witney, admitted drink-driving in Church Green, Witney on April 9. Had 62 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £300 and ordered to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving or holding a licence for 17 months.

Ben Webber, 35, of Linden Road, Bicester, admitted stealing meat worth £10.15 from The Co-operative in Bicester on April 7, stealing meat worth £20 from The Co-operative in Bicester on March 26, stealing alcohol worth £40 from Sainsbury’s in Bicester on March 26 and stealing meat worth £20 from The Co-operative in Bicester on April 2. Discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay a total of £90.15 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs. 

Jake Wood, 22, of Hemingway Drive, Bicester, admitted damaging a fence in Bassett Avenue, Bicester, on March 12 and assaulting a constable in the execution of their duty in the same place on the same date. Fined £75 and ordered to pay a total of £101 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

Vanessa Porter, 44, of Whittons Close, Hook Norton, admitted speeding at 39mph in a 30mph zone in Main Road, Broughton, on May 20, 2015. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.

Robert Raines, 20, of Silver Lane, West Challow, Wantage, admitted failing to stop at a red light in London Road, Oxford, on May 22. Fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Driving licence endorsed with three points.

Leon Caton, 24, of Alma Road, Banbury, admitted possessing cannabis, a class B drug, in Warwick Road, Banbury on November 27. Fined £80 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. 

Stephen Jackson, 48, of Willow Court, Abingdon Road, Standlake, admitted drink-driving in Lower Road, Long Hanborough on March 31. Had 69 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £810 and ordered to pay an £81 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving or holding a licence for 20 months.

Thomas Jackson, 20, of Marlborough Road, Banbury, admitted possessing cannabis, a class B drug in Blackpool, Lancashire, on January 24. Discharged conditionally for 12 months and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
