1. Our top story today: Drivers vent dismay as new Wolvercote Roundabout layout causes long tailbacks.

Drivers vented their fury this morning after a new road layout at Wolvercote Roundabout caused traffic chaos.

The changes came into effect on Saturday, meaning today was the first time many commuters encountered them.

It has seen the A44 reduced to one lane in both directions between the Pear Tree interchange and the roundabout. The layout will be in place until about mid-July. Read more here

"Catastrophic" cuts to homeless support services in Oxford could undo 30 years of work, the departing boss of the city's main hostel has warned.

Lesley Dewhurst said funding cuts from by Oxfordshire County Council and proposed changes to housing benefit tabled by the Government could mean "curtains" for supported housing and the city's homeless hostels.
