CANDIDATES for the Thames Valley police and crime commissioner (PCC) and for council elections in Oxford, Cherwell and West Oxfordshire have been revealed.
Elections will take place on May 5 for 89 district and city council seats in the county, with people also able to cast a vote for who should be PCC in the ballot box at the same time.
Residents who want to vote must register by Monday April 18, which can be done at gov.uk/register-to-vote.
In Oxford, there are elections across all 24 wards in the city. Each ward will elect one councillor, half of the total 48 seats, to serve a four-year term.
There are 17 of the total 49 seats up for election on West Oxfordshire District Council, with all 48 seats on Cherwell District Council also up for election.

Meanwhile, four candidates have been nominated for PCC. They are:
- Laetisia Carter - Labour Party
- John Howson - Liberal Democrat
- Anthony Stansfeld - Conservative Party
- Lea Trainer - UK Independence Party (UKIP)
