It's bad news for children and adults who are lactose intolerant or vegan as the revamp of a classic biscuit could see them miss out.
Milk protein is set to be added to the recipe of the Jammie Dodger.
The British favourite, famous for having a heart-shaped centre is being shaken up by Burton's Biscuits.
The overhaul comes after research by the company found customers were pining for "crispier biscuits and a fruitier-flavoured jam."
The addition to the recipe means it will be unsuitable for vegans and people who are lactose intolerant.
