Oxford Canal closure after River Cherwell flooding
BOATERS have been warned not to travel along parts of the Oxford Canal after the River Cherwell flooded.
The navigation closure is between Bakers Lock and Shipton Weir Lock, near Shipton-on-Cherwell.
The Canal and River Trust said the closure affecting the canal's southern section will be in place until further notice.
There is also a further navigation closure between Nell Lock Bridge and Aynho Weir Lock, near Adderbury, with the towpath also closed.
