POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a series of shoplifting incidents in Wallingford.
Thames Valley Police said on August 24 between about 2.05pm and 2.45pm items worth up to £800 were stolen from Boots in Market Place.
A man was seen on CCTV putting items into a large red and white plastic bag and leaving from the store without paying.
Officers believe the incident is linked with three others on August 22, 20 and July 29, and have said the man in the image may hold vital information.
Police said on each occasion, the security tags were removed before the person left the store and that they were captured on CCTV removing the tags with their teeth.
On August 22 at about 3.55pm in Lloyds Pharmacy, Market Place, a ‘foot scrubber’ worth approximately £60 was taken during a shoplifting incident.
On August 20 at about 1.10pm in the same Boots, six blood pressure monitors worth approximately £600 in total were taken.
On July 29 at just before 4pm in Lloyds Pharmacy, a number of mobiles phones were stolen.
