A MAN has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a woman was killed on the A34 last month.
Claudiu-Ioan Almasan, 45, was charged on Tuesday following his arrest on July 13.
Police did not release details of the charge until today.
The resident of Leighton Buzzard Road, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, has been bailed to appear at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on September 24.
The charge follows a crash on the A34 near Weston-on-the-Green on July 12 when a woman died following a collision between a white Renault truck, a black Nissan Note, a silver Vauxhall Corsa and a red Renault Scenic.
The Nissan Note left the road and its driver, a woman in her 70s from Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, was killed at the scene.
