Missing umbrella
Sir – Would whoever took a ladies’ black bamboo-handled umbrella from the Ashmolean Museum cloakroom kindly return it to the museum so it may be reclaimed by its owner.
It has been in her possession for nearly 50 years and she has fond memories linked to her youth.
