ON JULY 13 I wrote to Ed Vaizey, my local MP, asking him to respond to my concerns about his Government allowing fox hunting, asking if he thought it fair that teachers, nurses etc will get a one per cent pay rise every year for the next five years, when MPs are getting 10 per cent this year.
I asked him why his Government were restricting trade union rights when his Government had only received 25 per cent of the electorate voting for them.
Sadly, no reply.
MPs are like a rash before elections....now they disappear.
Since my letter, I want to know why his Government has broken its manifesto promise to put a £72,000 cap on care fees.
His leader, Cameron, said before the election that he was going to lead the greenest government ever.
This is now in tatters as the Tories axe the green deal home energy efficiency scheme.
When will these politicians learn they are the servants of the people not their masters? Meanwhile, I’m still waiting for the postman to bring Mr Vaizey’s reply.
