BURGLARS smashed through the glass doors of an Oxford cinema, attached a cash machine to the back of a Jeep Cherokee and ripped it straight out of the wall.
About £5,000 is estimated to have been taken in the incident which happened the Vue cinema at the Ozone leisure complex, Grenoble Road, Greater Leys, at about 3.45am today.
CCTV shows three people were involved, a driver and two passengers, in dark clothing and wearing headgear, including balaclavas.
Detectives believe the Jeep was burned out in Goring, near the Leatherne Bottel restaurant, Bridle Way, 45 minutes later.
Det Con Jacqui Bartlett, from Oxford CID, said: "If you happened to have been in either the area where the ATM was stolen or where this 4x4 was found in the early hours of this morning, we would like to hear from you.
"We are also keen to speak to anyone who may have been driving in the Greater Leys area, particularly along Grenoble Road, or along the A4074 and who may have seen this distinctive vehicle."
