A woman was sexually assaulted while walking across Langford Fields in Bicester.
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses following the assault, which happened at around 9.20pm on Wednesday, April 11, when a 40-year-old woman was walking from the area of Langford Village towards London Road.
A white man attacked her from behind and sexually assaulted her before running off.
It is the second sex attack in the town in less than a month - a 16-year-old boy is due to appear in court on Tuesday charged with raping a woman in a park near Aspen Close, Southwold, on March 17. He is currently remanded in custody before the hearing at Banbury Youth Court.
Dc Jill Morton said of Wednesday's assault: "It's unclear what direction he ran off in. He is in his mid-20s, slim and around 5ft 7ins and was unshaven.
"His hair is dark and is described as long enough to fall into his face but looked very short when he pulled his head back, as though he was receding at the front.
"He was wearing a red hooded top with a dark-coloured top over this.
"I would urge anyone who saw this man in the area to contact me."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dc Morton at Bicester CID on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
