Workers were evacuated from a building in Kidlington earlier today after a fire started on the first floor.
Fire crews were called to Kingerlee Building Contractors at Thomas House, in Langford Locks, at around noon today.
Smoke was billowing from the first floor, but all staff escaped from the building by the time emergency teams arrived.
Fire engines from Kidlington, Woodstock and Rewley Road were first on the scene. Crews cut away the roof to get at the smouldering fire underneath.
It is not yet known how the blaze started and Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said an investigation would be launched.
