MP Tony Baldry, above, visited a motorway service station near Bicester to see the effect of its £1m facelift.
Mr Baldry had a behind-the-scenes look at Moto's Cherwell Valley site on the M40 near Ardley. The revamp has included the creation of a new WH Smith store and an extension of the Marks & Spencer store.
The facelift at Cherwell Valley is part of a £30m improvement programme being carried out in Moto's 48 service areas across the UK.
Mr Baldry said: "There is no doubt that motorway service areas have improved by leaps and bounds in the last few years."
