Strong winds are set to hit Oxfordshire today as a severe weather warnig was issued
The Met Office is warning winds will build across the county this morning with gusts reaching up to 50 to 60mph.
A spokesman said: “An active cold front will move quickly east across England today, bringing a short spell of heavy rain and squally winds to more southern and southeastern parts of England.
“The public are advised to take extra care due to the localised squally winds and heavy rain.”
The yellow warning is in place until 3pm today.
It means the public should be aware of possible disruption.
