CURATOR Lendon Scantlebury hopes this flagship sculpture will raise thousands of pounds for charity.
The 54-year-old is preparing to welcome hundreds of people to the seven-acre Bothy Vineyard, near Frilford Heath.
The sail boat sculpture – designed by Oxford artist Richard Cresswell and called Caprice – is pegged to fetch £9,500, with money raised destined for charity The Nasio Trust.
The piece is one of more than 200 by about 35 artists who are displaying work at the show, which opens today.
The exhibition, part of Oxfordshire Artweeks, is free and open on May 23 to 25, May 27 to 31 and June 3 to 7.
