ROPER On May 11, Peacefully at home, 59 Park Lane, Middleham, formerly of Middleham Motors, Gordon aged 86 years. Beloved husband of Elizabeth, dearly loved father of Susan, Christopher, Kenneth, Andrea, Ann and Frances and a much loved father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad. A private family cremation service will be followed by a service of Thanksgiving at St. Mary & St. Alkelda's Church, Middleham, on Monday, May 18, at 12.30p.m. Family flowers only please, donations if desired will be shared between church funds and Leyburn Medical Practice (plate in church). Will friends please meet at the church.
