The University of Oxford has been officially confirmed as a Living Wage employer.
Following an application in January, the university was awarded the accreditation by the Living Wage Foundation.
The foundation said all central university staff were now paid at least the minimum requirement of £7.85 an hour.
The university has committed to a “phased accreditation” route, meaning all employers will be paid the living wage or above for the next two years.
