Wrong impression: The Frideswide Square work greeting visitors to Oxford
I was going to go to Banbury, but my train got cancelled because of signalling problems. What’s new?
So from the railway station, I got the number 5 Blackbird Leys bus which first went past Frideswide Square (roadworks) and a demolished Westgate car park.
It seems the council has succeeded where Hitler failed and made Oxford look like a bomb site. It is not a good entrance to Oxford for people who have not been here before.
