OXON: War veterans from across the county were recognised for bravery 70 years ago.
The men, who served on the Arctic Convoys in the Second World War, were honoured by the Russian government at Oxford Town Hall.
Merchant ships in the convoys were tasked with delivering supplies to the Soviet Union.
Twenty-eight veterans were awarded medals – eight posthumously.
