In the interests of fair play, some villagers are opposed to the plan. Many are not.

And the only thing vaguely like an uproar in Merton recently has been the combined murmurings of a vast majority of villagers, if not all of them, against the lorries ploughing through Merton as the Oxford-Bicester rail line is improved.
