* Police and fire officers are investigating the cause of a fire which severely damaged Rose Hill community centre in Oxford – arson is suspected.
* There is likely to be considerable delay before Cornmarket Street, Oxford, is resurfaced – the Ministry of Transport is still considering whether to make the one-way system permanent.
