YESTERDAY was the last day of Dancin’ Oxford, the city’s 11-day dance festival.
Crowds gathered at various locations around the city for performances from a mixture of professional and community dance groups.
One of the most popular events was the Wake and Shake early-morning disco session at the Town Hall in St Aldate’s at 8am.
Dancer Ilona Kalnina said: “I’ve just come for fun, it’s brilliant.”
Festival organiser Claire Thompson said: “Thanks to all who came and raved in a new day, it was brilliant fun.
“We hope to make this a regular event.”
Another first for the city was a wheelchair dancing group at the Oxsrad Leisure Centre in Marston.
