THE driver of this Volkswagen Polo had a lucky escape when the car overturned in Warneford Road, Headington yesterday morning.
Police were called to the scene near Cheney School shortly after 10am after the collision involving another Volkswagen Polo and a Renault Clio.
Thames Valley Police spokeswoman Connie Primmer said nobody was injured and the road was cleared by about 11.30am.
It was the second car to overturn in Oxford yesterday morning.
Police were called to the A40 westbound between Cassington and the Wolvercote Roundabout at 7.10am to an overturned car that had ended up in a lay-by next to a burger van.
A South Central Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a 50-year-old man was treated at the scene for minor injuries. Traffic was delayed by the accident but no lanes were blocked.
