Today is the deadline for a postal ballot called by dons in Oxford University’s ‘parliament’ on reducing the Castle Mill student flats in height.
Critics say the blocks blight historic views of Oxford and a report found that 22 views had been damaged by them.
Last month a meeting of the university’s parliament, Congregation, rejected a motion to take the top floor off six of the eight Roger Dudman Way buildings – but most of the 4,500 senior figures from the university were not present.
