Girls attacked in Staverton Road by a man demanding they hand over their phones
TWO teenage girls were attacked in Staverton Road last night.
A man came up behind the 16-year-olds, tried to pull them to the floor while demanding their mobile phones.
The attack was at about 10.50pm.
Both girls managed to run away, but police said one had a cut to her lip but did not need to go to hospital.
The offender was described as white, aged 20 to 30 years old, 6ft tall, medium athletic build, wearing a dark green jacket with a square pattern.
