CRIME writer Colin Dexter, best known for creating Oxford super sleuth Inspector Morse, was a special guest at the launch of a new Oxford-based publisher.
Author of crime fiction Darren John Wilson launched his publishing company Code Unknown at the Albion Beatnik Bookstore in Walton Street.
Mr Wilson, who was also launching his crime novel Sailing By, said the name Code Unknown was “cryptic and mysterious and captures the ethos of the books we plan to publish.”
The publisher hopes to take unsolicited manuscripts at some point in the future and aims to build up a catalogue of writers of crime, mysteries and similar genres.
