David Attenborough fans queued for up to seven and a half hours to meet the broadcaster and nature expert at a book signing in Oxford today.
The BBC star said it was "amazing" to see hundreds of people queuing along Cornmarket Street and Ship Street from 9am for the 4.30pm event.
Sir David was signing copies of his autobiography Life on Air at Waterstones in Cornmarket Street.
