A public inquiry into whether land in Northway, Oxford, should be designated as a town green has finished.
The inquiry had been taking place in St Columba’s United Reformed Church since September 29.
Planning inspector Ross Crail will now consider if the land at Foxwell Drive should be given protected status – but it is not known when her report will be published.
The land is needed as part of Oxford City Council’s 885-home Barton Park development and would be used for a link road across the A40. But residents want to protect the land as a town green.
