A PRISONER in his forties was assaulted by another inmate at HMP Bullingdon on Friday.

Prison Service spokeswoman Rebecca Gough said: “An incident took place involving two prisoners, during which one suffered minor injuries.

“The incident was resolved by prison staff and police have been informed.”

Police were called at 8.20pm and said they were investigating the incident.
