A PEDESTRIAN in his 20s has been taken to hospital after a collision with a car in Oxford.

An ambulance from South Central Ambulance Service was sent to Barns Road after the crash was reported at 5.47pm today.

The man was taken to Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital. It is not known how serious his injuries are.

I'd very much doubt if Disney's Mickey Mouse has ever appeared in D C Thomson's "Beano" or "Dandy". DC Thomson is, of course, famously the only major newspaper & media organisation that never left Fleet Street.

I suppose if update images were shown of the ambulance in situ the publishers would be accused of ambulance chasing...
