An inquest has been opened into the death of an 11-year-old boy.

Medi Mehra, from London, died after falling off a horse in Kidlington on Tuesday. A post-mortem examination found that he died from a severe head trauma.

Oxfordshire Coroner’s Court on Thursday opened and adjourned the inquest until Wednesday, November 5.
