The following notice has been posted tonight in Oxford
His Majesty the King having been graciously pleased to order by proclamation that directions be given to the Army Council for embodying the Territorial Forces, all men belonging to the said forces are required to report themselves immediately at headquarters
A Company of the City Territorials parade at headquarters this (Wednesday) morning and B and H Companies at Keble College
Six proclamations have been affixed to notice boards outside the City Buildings and the County Hall. They are as follows:
- Calling out the Royal Naval Reserve officers
- Extending time-limit of time-expired men in the Navy for five years
- Calling out the men of the Royal Fleet Reserve and officers and men of the Rayal Naval Reserve
- Authorising the Lords Commissioner of the Admiralty to requisition any ships within the British Isles or waters adjacent
- Bank Holidays, August 4 to 6 thoughout the United Kingdom
- Prohibiting the exportation of warlinke stores
