Oxford Mail: Peter Doherty Peter Doherty

Rock and roll bad boy Peter Doherty has chosen Oxford as the venue for a warm-up show ahead of this weekend’s reunion by his band The Libertines.

The star, right, will tonight play a solo show at the O2 Academy Oxford, in Cowley Road.

The concert is one of a handful of shows before Saturday’s British Summer Time festival show in London’s Hyde Park.
