A severe weather warning has been issued as heavy rain is expected to hit Oxfordshire today and tomorrow.
Heavy and thundery showers are due to fall between 4am today and 9pm tomorrow.
Some areas could see between 15-20mm of rain in an hour or less and possibly 40mm in two or three hours.
The average amount of rainfall for Oxford in June is 55mm over the course of a day.
Hail and lightning have also been forecast.
The Met Office warning said: “The public should be aware that the resulting downpours may lead to localised flooding and potential disruption to transport and outdoor events.”
