Lorry fire near A40

Firefighters were called to a lorry fire near Forest Hill.

Crews were called yesterday at 10.55am.

The lorry was on a cycle path parallel to the A40. Police were also called.

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service spent about 55 minutes tackling the blaze, which was out by 11.50am.

Thames Valley Police spokeswoman Hannah Williams said: “It appeared the vehicle had come off the road.”
