A sinkhole that opened up in the city is on private land, claim councils.
Oxfordshire County Council and Oxford City Council say the road is on private land.
The hole formed over the weekend, outside the Ozone Leisure Park next to Oxford United’s Kassam Stadium.
The estate department at Ozone-owner Firoka, Firoz Kassam’s business, said it had not been made aware of the sinkhole.
The hole, which witnesses claimed was 8ft long and 4ft wide, opened up during the storm on Saturday, it is claimed.
