MARY Clarkson says that the Lib Dems are trying to mislead and unsettle the public over the Covered Market.
Here’s the thing: Labour have been in power in Oxford for a long time, yet have become complacent and, when things don’t go their way, blame the smaller parties for misrepresentations.
During campaigning for the council elections, I saw many Labour councillors turning up on our doorsteps canvassing for votes who have been misrepresenting their electorate.
How many times have we had it that the electorate’s opinions have been totally overlooked by this Labour council? Many people don’t vote because their opinions are not taken into account.
Mary, it seems to be a case of ‘pot calling the kettle black’.
