CIGARETTES were stolen during an overnight raid at a Woodstock newsagents.

Burglars broke a pane of glass in the front door of Mary and Martin’s Newsagents in High Street, Woodstock, between 11pm on Friday and 4.30am on Saturday.

A “large quantity” of cigarettes, mainly Benson & Hedges, Mayfair and JPS brands, were stolen, police said.
