On (May 13) you reported North Hinksey Parish Council member, Mr Chris Church, as saying of the West Way plans: “The parish council…will continue to oppose them because at the moment it would be too big.”
I would like to point out on behalf of the parish council that at the time of speaking, Mr Church, although elected as a parish councillor, had not signed his acceptance of office form and was therefore unable to speak on behalf of North Hinksey Parish Council. Contrary to his suggestion, the parish council followed the normal planning procedure in considering Doric Properties’ application and our response can be read on the Vale of White Horse’s planning website under planning reference: P13/V2733/FUL.
