Sir – Once again Oxford City Council has shown its ignorance and stupidity (Report, April 17). This Passion play has taken place every year for the past 15 years in East Oxford without any interference and is obviously appreciated by many people as an expression of their faith.
May I suggest that the Bishop of Oxford arranges for the council to have some enhanced diversity training, so that next year they will be aware of what a Passion play actually is, and we will not have a repeat of this fiasco.
