The public will not be affected by the forthcoming industrial action, fire officials have said.
Strikes are due to take place from noon to 5pm on Friday, from 2pm to 2am on Saturday and from 10am to 3pm on Sunday. A mixture of non-striking full-time personnel and on-call staff will provide cover.
Oxfordshire’s Chief Fire Officer David Etheridge said: “Every emergency call made during these scheduled strike periods will be responded to. We have an agreement with the Fire Brigades Union locally that striking personnel would return to duty if an incident occurred which required the presence of a substantial number of firefighters.”
